Eastern Suffolk Regional Plan & Recommendations

Eastern Suffolk BOCES is pleased to announce the launch of the Eastern Suffolk Regional Plan & Recommendations website, a centralized and accessible resource designed to support Superintendents of Schools and district leadership teams across Suffolk County in advancing regional collaboration and continuous improvement.

This new website provides district leaders with streamlined, at-a-glance access to the Eastern Suffolk Regional Plan, including the Priority Focus Areas, as well as the activities, ideas, and recommendations identified through the collective work of Eastern Suffolk Superintendents of Schools and district teams. In addition, the website includes the academic school year calendar, with direct links to key resources, flyers, and announcements, ensuring timely and efficient access to essential regional information.

The Regional Plan reflects shared regional interests and locally grounded priorities, offering a practical framework to inform district planning, decision-making, and cross-district learning.

The Eastern Suffolk Regional Plan Website serves as:

  • A shared reference point for reviewing regional priorities and strategies
  • A hub for collaboration, highlighting opportunities for districts to learn from one another
  • A living resource that supports alignment between district needs and regional services
  • A centralized platform for accessing calendars, resources, and regional communications

Eastern Suffolk BOCES leadership will continue to partner and collaborate with Superintendents of Schools and district teams to support districts in meeting their unique goals. This includes providing services and resources aligned to the needs outlined in the Regional Plan, facilitating regional convenings focused on specific Priority Focus Area activities, and encouraging meaningful district-to-district connections across the region.

District leaders are encouraged to explore the website, engage with the Priority Focus Areas outlined in Parts 1 and 2 of the Regional Plan, and leverage the ideas and recommendations to strengthen local initiatives while contributing to a cohesive, collaborative regional approach. Together, Eastern Suffolk districts and BOCES will continue to build capacity, share expertise, and advance outcomes for students across the region.
